I spent such a wonderful peaceful day at this beach park in Puerto Rico, the Escambron Beach Club. It has a great hall, where I once dreamed my wedding would be (an offer from a beach resort changed my mind), it also has lush trails and of course the beach. Nothing beats swaying palm trees in the city. I love Puerto Rico!
One of my favorite buildings is in the Downtown San Juan district known as Santurce. This building was built in 1947 as the center for Comunications in Puerto Rico. It's Art Deco style and historical significance has deemed the building worthy of the National Preservation Society.
Summer days in Puerto Rico are warm, yet breezy. The city of San Juan is extremely vibrant and alive with art, Spanish Colonial architecture and modern vibes. The absolute best part of my summer holiday was to be able to share the fun with my beautiful younger sister.
