Magic Skies

I kicked off my Holiday Season with a little trip to Florida right after Thanksgiving. My husband and I decided that we have enough friends & family down in the Sunshine State to find plenty of fun things to do while we were there. Of course, now that my best friend Kat is living there I had more than enough fun activities to do with her. After Sunday brunch, while my hubby visited Islands of Adventure with his college buddy, and several glasses of "bottomless" mimosas later, Kat and I decided to go out on a real adventure, a helicopter ride over Orlando. I think the mimosas helped because I probably would have never been brave enough to think of doing something like that on my own.  She had done it before so she let me take the front seat, and it was spectacular! It was a very short ride but enough to capture breathtaking views and get my thrills no roller-coaster could ever give. It was probably the craziest thing I've ever done in the sky, thus far. I felt like a regular Amelia Earhart!
