Magic Skies

I kicked off my Holiday Season with a little trip to Florida right after Thanksgiving. My husband and I decided that we have enough friends & family down in the Sunshine State to find plenty of fun things to do while we were there. Of course, now that my best friend Kat is living there I had more than enough fun activities to do with her. After Sunday brunch, while my hubby visited Islands of Adventure with his college buddy, and several glasses of “bottomless” mimosas later, Kat and I decided to go out on a real adventure, a helicopter ride over Orlando. I think the mimosas helped because I probably would have never been brave enough to think of doing something like that on my own.  She had done it before so she let me take the front seat, and it was spectacular! It was a very short ride but enough to capture breathtaking views and get my thrills no roller-coaster could ever give. It was probably the craziest thing I’ve ever done in the sky, thus far. I felt like a regular Amelia Earhart! 
Comenzé mi temporada de Pascuas con un viaje a Florida justo despues de Acción de Gracias. Mi esposo y yo decidimos que teníamos suficientes amistades y familiares allí como para llenar nuestros días con bastante diversion. Por supuesto, ahora que mi mejor amiga Kat está viviendo allí sabía que iba a tener más que suficientes actividades para compartir con ella. Luego de nuestro Bronche Dominguero, mientras mis esposo se encontraba en el parque Islands of Adventure con su amigo, y luego de mimosas sin fin, Kat y yo decidimo irnos de aventura real, un viaje en helicóptero por la ciudad de Orlando. Las mimosas seguramente ayudaron porque jamás me hubiera atrevido a a hacer algo así por mi cuenta propia. Ella lo había hecho anteriormente así que me dejó sentarme al frente y fue espectacular! Fue un vieje bastante corto, pero suficiente para capturar pasiajes hermosos y darme sensaciones que ninguna montaña rusa me pudiera dar. Probablemente sea la experienicia más loca que he hecho en el cielo hasta ahora. Me sentí como la pionera de aviación, Amelia Earhart!
